GT7 Setup Guide
GT7 broadcasts telemetry automatically over UDP - no in-game settings change is required. Just make sure your router is not blocking the required ports (covered in step 4).
Find your PlayStation's local IP: on your PS console go to Settings > Network > View Connection Status and note the IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.50).
Open Driver Apex Companion on your phone. Go to Settings and select GT7 (Gran Turismo 7) as the game. For the PlayStation IP, enter your PS's local IP (from step 2) - or leave it as 255.255.255.255 to use broadcast mode, which automatically finds your PlayStation on the local network without needing the exact IP.
Make sure both your PlayStation and phone are on the same Wi-Fi network. Your router must allow UDP on two ports: 33740 (telemetry from PS to app) and 33739 (heartbeat from app to PS - required to keep the stream alive).
Start a Time Trial session in GT7. The Live Dashboard will immediately begin receiving telemetry. To detect the track layout, drive two full laps in the centre of the track - slow speed is perfectly fine. GT7 telemetry does not broadcast the circuit name, so the app identifies it from position data. When you change circuit in Time Trial, tap Restart Session in the app and drive two laps on the new circuit to re-detect it.
